Micro Machining. South Wales.

Micro Machining Division

Leveraging efficient “lights out machining” capabilities, this specialised plant delivers exceptional micro component manufacturing solutions with cost-effective pricing.

At the heart of our micro machining operations are state-of-the-art coil-fed CNC Escomatic lathes. These high-precision machines are complemented by conventional cam-operated Escomatic lathes with coil-feeding systems, providing additional manufacturing flexibility.

With a comprehensive suite of machining technologies in-house, we can arrange for most subcontract processes as needed, offering a true one-stop solution for all your micro component manufacturing requirements.

Our micro machining expertise spans diameters from 1mm to 7mm, with turning tolerances down to 16 microns – a level of precision crucial for applications in industries like medical devices, aerospace, and precision instrumentation.

Micro Precision Machining

Our state-of-the-art South Wales facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week “lights out machining” to deliver cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or turnaround times.

As part of the Muller group, we offer a unique capability: collaborating closely with customers to develop optimised manufacturing strategies that streamline their supply chain and drive cost efficiencies.

At the helm is Stephen Lock, Managing Director and CEO, a time-served engineer with over 40 years in subcontract machining and engineering management.

Stephen is supported by Mark Clent, Production Manager, who brings 30 years of specialised Escomatic experience. Our leadership team also includes Jason Williams in logistics and purchasing, and Alex Underhill, Quality Manager. Their deep knowledge and commitment to excellence ensure every micro component we produce meets the highest standards.

Our organisation-wide implementation of the MRP II system, MFG PRO, enables comprehensive monitoring and control, providing full traceability and process visibility from initial inquiry through final delivery.

Central to our operations is an unwavering dedication to achieving total customer satisfaction. Our focus on continuous improvement and stringent quality control protocols allows us to consistently manufacture micro components that meet or surpass your precise specifications and expectations.
