Muller the Precision machining Group, is looking to move manufacturing from its Cleobury Mortimer site, to take advantage of skilled personnel longer running hours and additional machining capacity by combining the Cleobury capacity with the Wednesbury facility.
It is with sadness and a lot of soul searching that the move has been undertaken, but the lack of skilled resources in rural Shropshire has made the move after 80 years inevitable.
The intention is for the Group headquarters to remain in Cleobury Mortimer housing central services including, the toolroom, IT, Finance, Technical and Sales and Marketing departments.
The 25,000 square feet of shop floor will become available, with nothing ruled in or out. The company is open to renting or introducing an alternative operation more aligned to the skill sets available in rural Shropshire.
It will be happy to engage with parties who have ideas or ambitions requiring light industrial space.
